Teacup Pup

A fluffy puppy peeping out of a polka dot teacup, one of Hannah Dale's Wrendale designs worked in cross stitch on white Aida. The fabric carries a subtle speckle print that creates the snowy background for you, so there is no need to stitch it.

The design is worked from a counted chart: as well as full crosses it uses backstitch for the outlines and a few French knots for the details, so it suits anyone with a little stitching experience. The round hoop is included and doubles as the frame: once finished, simply tighten the fabric, trim the edge and hang it up.
