Lotus Dreams

An Asian-inspired lakeside scene with lotus flowers, in a long panoramic format that suits a picture hung above a sofa or a sideboard. It is worked in counted cross stitch on ice blue fabric, which stands in for the water and the sky: the background is left unstitched, so the piece grows faster than its size suggests.
