Solid Dusty Teal

Solid Dusty Teal is one of the Tilda plain shades, a muted blue-green that gives the eye a rest between the printed fabrics of the collections. Solids are the fabrics that run out fastest: they go into quilt backgrounds, frames around blocks, borders, cushion backs and the details of fabric dolls and animals.

Tilda cotton has a soft but closely woven feel, easy to cut into strips and to machine stitch. If you need one continuous length, for a quilt backing or binding for instance, choose one of the larger cuts rather than adding up several small ones. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
