Tiny Dots Light Blue

Tiny Dots Light Blue belongs to Tilda's Classics range, the basics kept in stock to go with the seasonal collections. The minute light blue dots on a cream ground read almost as a softly textured solid from a distance, which makes this a useful fabric for quilt backgrounds, borders, cushion backs and doll clothes, where a large-scale print would be lost.

It mixes easily with the bolder florals of the other Tilda collections and with the checks and stripes in the same range. Shrinkage is fairly high, so pre-wash the fabric before cutting, especially if it will be sewn next to fabrics that have already been washed. For long strips or a whole quilt back, choose one of the larger cuts.
