Criscross Light Blue

Crisscross Light Blue belongs to the Tilda Classics, the basics that stay in the range: a close lattice of fine diamonds, cream on a dusty light blue. The scale is small and regular, so from a distance it reads almost as a textured solid – useful for quilt backgrounds, linings, the insides of bags and the bodies of Tilda dolls.

It quietens busier prints and sits happily next to the small florals and dots of the same line. Shrinkage is noticeable, so wash and press the fabric before cutting, especially if you are combining it with fabrics that have already been washed. For borders or long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
