Pen Stripe Pink

Pen Stripe Pink belongs to the Tilda Classics, the basics that go with every collection: fine stripes like pen lines, slightly uneven, in pink on an off-white ground. It is a small-scale print that reads almost as a pale solid from a distance, so it gives the eye a rest next to florals and larger motifs.

It works well for quilt sashing and borders, for bag linings, for Tilda doll clothes and for small sewing projects. Shrinkage is fairly high, so wash and press the fabric before cutting, especially if you are combining it with pre-washed fabrics. For stripes running the full length, choose one of the larger cuts.
