Solid Color Lilac Mist

Lilac Mist is one of the Tilda solids, a soft dusty lilac that sits quietly beside the house's floral prints. In a quilt it works for background blocks, sashing and borders, where a print would pull the eye away; in sewing projects it is handy for linings, cushion backs and for the bodies of Tilda dolls and soft animals.

The cotton is firm and pleasant to cut and machine stitch. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before the piece is finished. If you need long strips or large uncut pieces, choose one of the bigger cuts.
