Solid Soft Teal

Solid Soft Teal is one of the Tilda solids from the Basics range: a gentle, slightly dusty blue-green that gives the eye a rest between printed fabrics. It is the one to reach for when the prints start to crowd each other: block backgrounds, sashing, cushion backs, bag and pouch linings, or the body of a Tilda doll or soft animal.

The cotton has a soft, close weave that cuts cleanly with a rotary cutter and sews easily by machine; it also suits hand quilting, since stitches show up well on a plain colour. Pre-wash before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For borders and long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
