Chambray Sage

Chambray Sage is one of the Tilda basics: a cotton woven with coloured and pale threads, so the weave shows up close and gives the sage green a depth that flat solids do not have. It is the fabric to reach for when the prints are already doing the talking – block backgrounds and sashing, quilt backing, binding and bias strips, linings for bags and pouches.

It sits happily next to the small florals of the printed collections and works on its own too, for aprons, light curtains, cushions and doll bodies. Pre-wash before cutting, as the shrinkage is a little more noticeable than with the other Tilda cottons.
