Tilda Doll Fabric - Caramel

Caramel is one of the solid cottons Tone Finnanger developed for the bodies of Tilda dolls and angels: a warm shade between beige and pink, with a close weave that holds the narrow seams of arms, legs and heads and does not let the stuffing show through.

It is meant for the patterns in the Tilda books, but it also works for the faces and details of other soft toys, for fabric animals, or as a quiet background in patchwork blocks. The cut is sold on its own, without pattern or stuffing. As the shrinkage is noticeable, pre-wash the fabric before cutting the pieces, especially if the finished piece will be washed.
