Visit Venice

A Venetian memory to work in counted cross stitch: you follow the chart and stitch on evenweave Aida squares, with no linen threads to count. The kit comes complete with fabric, threads, needle, chart and instructions, so you can start straight away.

The night-blue ground makes the lighter shades stand out and gives the scene depth, though dark fabric is easier to stitch in good light, ideally daylight. A hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors will make the work more comfortable. Once finished, the piece is well suited to framing as a picture.
