Bellflower Pink belongs to Wallflower, the Tilda collection that takes a romantic look at the ornamental styles of the 1960s and 70s. The print is small and densely packed: blue and cream bellflowers peeping out between pink leaves and little stems on a warm red ground. From a distance it reads almost as a solid, which is why the collection lists it among the blenders.
This is the fabric that gives bigger prints room to breathe: block backgrounds, small pieces, borders, bag linings and basket interiors, as well as the classic Tilda hearts and dolls. Pre-wash it before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long strips or a quilt backing, choose one of the larger cuts.
