Bianca Thristle belongs to Wallflower, the Tilda collection that gives a romantic twist to the decorative styles of the 1960s and 70s. The flowers are arranged inside repeating oval frames across the whole cloth, in the caramel and blue tones of one of the collection's two colour stories: a dense, symmetrical print that still reads well when cut into small pieces.
It works nicely in quilt blocks, borders and cushion backs, and just as well for bags, pouches, aprons and clothes for Tilda dolls. It sits easily next to plain shades and the smaller prints of the same collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
