Blender - Stella Blue

Stella Blue belongs to Songbird, the collection Tone Finnanger designed after a trip to Venice, with a light nod to Art Nouveau: broad, sinuous leaves dotted with tiny flowers in a dusty pastel palette of sand and blue. As part of the Blenders range the print is meant to support the collection's main designs rather than compete with them, although the drawing here is still clearly visible.

It works well in quilt blocks and borders, on cushion backs, and for bags, pouches and basket linings. Pre-wash it before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; if you need long strips or larger pieces, choose one of the bigger cuts.
