Description

Borders Night belongs to Something Blue, the Tilda collection born from Tone Finnanger's love of blue and white pottery. The print is arranged in vertical bands set side by side, each with a different floral border: full roses, tiny posies and light trailing sprigs, all in pale blue and white on a deep blue ground.

It works beautifully cut along the stripes, giving ready-made borders for a quilt, strips for cushions, panels for bags, pouches and pencil cases. To use the bands whole, choose one of the longer cuts and check the direction of the print before sewing. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before piecing.
