Brie Denim

Brie Denim is one of the Tilda basics: a tiny ditsy floral with little pink blooms scattered over a deep blue ground. The print is small and even, so there is nothing to fussy-cut or centre, and it still reads well in very small pieces, where it works almost like a softly textured solid.

This is the fabric that gives a quilt room to breathe between the busier blocks, and it is equally useful for backings, linings and binding, for doll clothes, cushions and pouches. It sits happily next to the larger florals of the Tilda collections and next to plain pinks and blues. Pre-wash before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
