Brie Pine is one of Tilda's basics: a small, evenly spaced ditsy floral that reads as deep green from a distance and shows pale flowers and leaves close up. That is exactly why it works as a supporting fabric, the one that holds the larger prints of a quilt together without stealing the show.
It is handy for borders, cushion backs, drawstring bags and small accessories, and it is a good choice for Tilda doll clothes, where tiny motifs stay in scale. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips or whole backgrounds, choose one of the larger cuts.
