Celeste Denim

Celeste Denim belongs to Something Blue, the Tilda collection born from Tone Finnanger's love of blue and white pottery. The print is small and dense: little flowers and leaves running in gently waving bands, pale blue on a deep denim ground. Among the fabrics in the range it plays the part of a blender, filling and linking without competing with the larger motifs.

It works well in small patchwork blocks, borders, cushion backs, bag linings and clothes for Tilda dolls, where a tiny print still reads clearly in small pieces. Pre-wash it before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
