Cora Coral

Cora Coral belongs to Songbird, the collection Tone Finnanger designed after a trip to Venice, with a nod to the flowing lines of Art Nouveau. Large sage green peonies twine along curving stems on a warm coral ground, with a blue songbird perched among the branches. It is a large-scale print that shows best where it stays whole: the centre blocks of a quilt, the back of a cushion, a bag or an apron.

It sits easily beside the smaller prints of the collection and its dusty pastel palette. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips or wide pieces, choose one of the larger cuts.
