Esther Warm Cream

Esther Warm Cream belongs to Village Life, the Tilda collection that looks back to old wallpapers and pretty vintage dresses. The print is small and closely packed: daisies, little roses and buds in autumnal rust, ochre and teal, lifted by pink on a warm cream ground.

Because the motif is small, it still reads well when cut into tiny pieces: squares and triangles for a scrappy quilt, bag linings, pouches, aprons, dresses for Tilda dolls. It sits easily next to the solids and dots of the same collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
