Floral Coral

Floral Coral belongs to Songbird, the collection Tone Finnanger designed after a trip to Venice, with a light nod to Art Nouveau: flowers and leaves winding into a continuous pattern in dusty pastels of coral, sage green and ochre. The print is dense and repeats often, so it still reads well when cut into small pieces.

It is an easy fabric for quilt blocks, cushions, bags and pouches, and for Tilda dolls and soft animals; it sits happily next to the other prints in the collection and to solids in green or coral. Pre-wash it before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For borders or a whole quilt back, choose one of the larger cuts.
