Joy Red

Joy Red belongs to Merry Little Christmas, Tilda's autumn-winter collection with a soft, nostalgic Christmas feel and a hint of Nordic inspiration. Here a red ground scattered with white dots sets off little bunches of cream roses with blue-green foliage: a cheerful print that still reads well when cut into small pieces.

It is an easy fabric for festive sewing: table runners and placemats, gift bags and stockings, hearts and tree decorations, cushions, or blocks and borders for a Christmas quilt. It works nicely with the greens and creams of the same collection and with plain reds. Pre-wash before cutting so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; choose a larger cut if you need long strips.
