Mae Teal

Mae Teal belongs to Village Life, the Tilda collection inspired by cosy village days, old wallpapers and pretty vintage dresses. The print is small and densely packed: little posies of red and pink flowers, pale leaves and scattered ochre dots on a teal ground, in the autumn palette of the range.

Because the scale is small it works well wherever the pieces are too: patchwork blocks, triangles, narrow borders, and also linings, pouches, cushions and clothes for Tilda dolls. It sits happily next to the rust, ochre and green fabrics of the same line. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
