Poppy Seed Dusty Peach

Poppy Seed Dusty Peach is one of the Tilda basics: a fine scattering of dots, like poppy seeds, over a dusty peach ground. From a distance it reads almost as a solid, so it works as a quiet background next to larger prints, in quilt blocks as well as in borders and backings.

It is just as handy for small makes: pouches, pot holders, bag linings, little dresses and the bodies of Tilda dolls, where the warm neutral tone stands in for skin or a plain base. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long strips or for backing a project, choose one of the larger cuts.
