Solid Grey Cloud

Solid Grey Cloud is a light grey solid from the Tilda basics range, made to give printed fabrics room to breathe: a quiet background for quilt blocks, borders, cushion backs and all the places where one more pattern would be too much. The neutral grey works just as well with pastel collections as with brighter ones.

It is a medium-weight quilting cotton, easy to cut and to machine sew, and also suitable for doll bodies and Tilda accessories. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips for borders or backings, choose one of the larger cuts offered on the page.
