Solid Pine

Solid Pine is a softly dusty sage green from the Tilda Basics range: the fabric you reach for when there are already plenty of prints and the project needs one colour to hold them together. It works as a quilt background, for binding and borders, for cushion backs and for the plain parts of bags, aprons and decorations.

It is the same cotton as the Tilda printed fabrics, so it cuts and sews in exactly the same way and sits happily beside the floral collections. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long strips or a whole quilt back, choose one of the larger cuts.
