Songbird Green

Songbird Green belongs to the collection Tone Finnanger designed after a trip to Venice, with a nod to Art Nouveau: elongated flowers, curving leaves and little birds tucked among the stems, in dusty pink and soft mint on an olive green ground. The repeat is continuous and fairly large, so it shows at its best over wider surfaces.

It works well as a background print or as quilt backing, and for cushions, curtains, bags and pouches, mixing easily with the smaller-scale prints in the same collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips or whole panels, choose one of the larger cuts offered on the page.
