Teardrop Pink

Teardrop Pink belongs to Jubilee, the collection with which Tilda celebrates 25 years by bringing back the most festive prints of the past. The paisley design is densely packed and medium in scale, so it keeps its overall effect even when cut small: patchwork squares, pot holders, drawstring bags.

The pink ground sits happily next to the reds, blues and creams of the same collection, and also next to a pale solid that lets the print breathe. It is a cotton that suits Tilda dolls and decorations too, where busy little prints work best. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
