Village Blue

Village Blue is the scenic print of the Village Life collection: a small village set among ponds and gentle hills, with a pink-roofed church, red cottages, a greenhouse and a white picket fence, blossoming trees and golden bushes on a deep blue ground. It is a large-scale design that shows at its best where it stays whole – the centre of a quilt, a wide border, the front of a cushion or a bag.

It sits happily next to the smaller prints and plains of the same collection, in blues and burgundy. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; for long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
