White Flower Sand

White Flower Sand belongs to Sunday Brunch, the softly coloured Tilda collection that recalls leisurely spring brunches in the garden: small bouquets and sprigs in creamy white, evenly spaced over a warm sand ground. The print is small in scale and has no obvious direction, so it is easy to cut even into little pieces.

It works well as a background fabric in quilts, in the blocks that give the busier prints room to breathe, and also for pillowcases, curtains, dolls and bags with a vintage feel. It pairs with the other fabrics in the collection and with solids in dusty pink, sage green or cream. Pre-wash the cut before sewing, so the slight shrinkage happens beforehand.
