Woven Plaid Pea Green

A small, even check woven in cream threads on a pea green ground, from Creating Memories – the Tilda range of small-scale fabrics grouped by season so you always have a coordinated palette at hand. Because it is yarn-dyed, the plaid looks the same on both sides, which is handy for turned-back hems, the reverse of a throw and simple drawstring bags.

It works well as a background and as a quiet break between floral prints: quilt blocks, borders, pot holders and the bodies of Tilda dolls. Pre-wash before cutting, as the shrinkage is noticeable and shows up in patchwork. If you need long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
