Description

A three-tier pastry display filled with layered cakes, raspberry tarts, a pyramid of profiteroles and a few cupcakes: a tall, narrow design that suits a kitchen or dining room wall. It is worked in counted cross stitch on ecru Aida, with back stitch outlines that sharpen the cakes and the «Cake» sign.

The threads come ready sorted on a numbered organiser, so there is no winding or matching before you start. A hoop or frame and good light make the stitching easier; the frame shown in the photo is not part of the kit. Once finished, the narrow format works well in a simple frame, as a hanging panel or as a decorative banner.
