A garden bouquet shading from candy pink to lilac: a single tulip stands on the left while peonies, alliums, gerberas and anemones fill the right-hand side. The petals are blended with many close shades, so good light helps and it pays to keep the thread organiser tidy as you work.
27 count evenweave is usually stitched over two threads with one strand of stranded cotton, while back stitch sharpens the outlines of the flowers. The frame is not included: the finished piece is generously sized and looks well framed with a pale mount. You will also need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors.
