Description

A gentle still life: a bouquet of wild flowers set against the warm wood of a cupboard and a white painted chair. The fabric comes with a softly printed background, so the surrounding areas keep their colour even where they are not fully stitched and the picture gains depth with less work.

It is worked in counted cross stitch from a large-square chart, easy to follow even in the areas with many colour changes. Everything you need is in the kit except a hoop or frame and the picture frame: a frame helps keep an embroidery of this size evenly tensioned. Once finished, wash the work, press it face down and have it framed.
