Father Christmas walking through the snow with a sledge full of parcels, a kitten peeping out of a box and a little star-topped tree: a greetings card to stitch and then post or hand over in person. The design is small and stitches up in a few evenings, so it also travels well.
Everything needed to stitch and mount the card is in the kit: the finished piece slips behind the aperture of the triple-fold card, which folds shut at the back and hides the raw edges of the fabric. You only need scissors and, if you like to work under tension, a small hoop. The card can also be framed and brought out as a Christmas decoration year after year.
