A rabbit sitting up in the grass to kiss a frog, with 'Frog Prince' worked in back stitch underneath: the scene comes from original artwork by Anita Jeram, illustrator of Guess How Much I Love You.
The design is counted from the chart onto plain Aida, so there is nothing printed on the fabric to follow. The stranded cottons come already sorted by colour on a card organiser, which saves a lot of guesswork. Alongside the cross stitch there is back stitch for the outlines and a few French knots, both easy to pick up. The frame is not included; a hoop and small scissors are useful too. The alphabet lets you add a name or a date.
