Description

A bridal shoe drawn entirely out of flowers: the outline stays open while the stitching concentrates on pink rosebuds, green leaves and the sparkle of the metallic thread. It is worked in counted cross stitch on white Aida, with backstitch for the finer lines, so a little experience with charted designs helps.

The chart also includes an alphabet, handy for adding names and a date and turning the piece into a wedding gift or a keepsake to frame. The frame is not included; a hoop or frame to work on and a small pair of embroidery scissors are also useful.
