Three penguins in Santa hats huddle together for a selfie while the snow comes down: a Julie Oldham design worked in cross stitch, with back stitch outlines and fluffy speciality threads that give the hat trims a real texture.
Everything you need is in the box, including the card mount and the envelope. The finished stitching is held in place with velcro, so it sits neatly in the aperture and can be lifted out later if you decide to frame it; the star sequins are sewn on as snowflakes. A small hoop and a pair of embroidery scissors are all you need to add. It is a project for a couple of evenings, to post as a greetings card or hang up at Christmas.
