Description

Two crowned cranes lean towards each other among lotus flowers: the golden crests and the blue shading of the background call for plenty of colour changes, all set out on the large-square chart. French knots and a few long stitches add relief to the eyes, feathers and stamens.

Lugana is worked over two threads and has a soft handle that sits well in a hoop or frame; hoop, scissors and picture frame are not part of the kit, and the frame shown in the photo is for display only. With its size and colour count this is a project for stitchers with some experience, meant to be framed once finished.
