A Ragdoll's face fills almost the whole picture: grey and white fur worked in many shades, bright blue eyes and a crown of roses and small blue flowers resting on its head. The lifelike fur comes from the 35 colours and the long stitches, while french knots add texture to the flower centres.
Evenweave is usually stitched over two threads, so each cross ends up the same size as on 14 count Aida. Everything you need is in the kit except a hoop or frame and a picture frame: a hoop helps keep an even tension on a piece this size. Once finished, the work is best framed and hung.
