A panoramic winter view of Ghent, with Flemish façades, church towers and street lamps outlined against a sunset sky. The long, narrow format and the many shaded areas call for patience and some experience of counted cross stitch: alongside the crosses there are long stitches for the architectural details.
The kit holds everything needed for the stitching itself, but no frame is included: for a piece this size it is worth planning a large hoop or stretcher bars, and a made-to-measure frame at the end. On evenweave the stitching is usually worked over two threads, giving the same result as a 13.5 count fabric.
