Description

A delicate portrait built on gradual shading: the 53 shades of stranded cotton are there to soften the skin tones, the rose petals and the birds' feathers. The chart is printed with large squares, so it stays easy to read even where the colour changes come thick and fast.

The kit holds everything needed for the stitching, including a yarn organizer to keep the skeins in order; the frame is not included. A hoop or a scroll frame is well worth using to keep the fabric taut over a piece this wide. Once finished, the picture looks its best framed, perhaps with a pale mount.
