Autumn still life

A detailed autumn arrangement: yellow and red sunflowers fill the upper part of the design, while pumpkins, a blue jug and fallen leaves sit below. The 43 shades are carefully blended, so it helps to work area by area following the chart; back stitch outlines the flowers and the objects.

Lugana is stitched over two threads, with two strands of stranded cotton for the cross stitch and one for the back stitch. The kit contains everything needed to stitch the design except a hoop or frame and a picture frame. Once finished, the piece suits a frame with a mount, which sets off its tall, narrow format.
