Description

A garden scene with a small bird singing on a twig, blue harebells, yellow butterflies and bumblebees in flight: the design plays on the contrast between the blue blooms and the yellow wings, leaving plenty of pale fabric to breathe. The threads come pre-sorted on the organiser, so there is no hunting for numbers at every colour change.

Evenweave is worked over two threads and gives a finer result than Aida; back stitch and long stitches define the stems, legs and antennae. Frame and hoop are not included: a hoop or frame large enough for the design makes stitching easier. Once finished, this tall, generously sized picture lends itself well to framing.
