Description

A garden scene signed MB: a little bird leans out from its branch while bees and a white butterfly settle on the purple and lilac flowers. The design relies on the shading of the petals, with many colour changes against the pale fabric, plus a few long stitches and back stitches for the finer details.

Evenweave is worked over two threads for each cross and gives a softer finish than Aida. Everything needed for the stitching is in the kit: you only need to add a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. Given its size, this is a project to enjoy over time; once finished, wash it, press it face down and frame it (the frame is not included).
