Floral cotton candy - Aida

A bunch of spring flowers in soft colours, the single pink tulip balancing the fuller group on the right: a generously sized piece to work at a relaxed pace on clearly squared Aida. Alongside cross stitch you will use half cross stitch, long stitch and back stitch for the outlines and stems, which keep the petals light.

Everything needed for stitching is in the kit, threads included and already sorted on the organiser. You only need a hoop or frame and small scissors, plus a picture frame, which is not included. Once finished, wash the work gently, press it face down and frame it, perhaps with a pale mount that picks up the background.
