An English-garden border, with foxgloves and delphiniums rising behind a carpet of white, yellow and red flowers. The watercolour effect comes from the many shaded colours, so there are plenty of thread changes, while the stitching itself stays straightforward: most of the design is worked in whole cross stitch over one on Aida.
The kit holds all the stitching materials, with the threads already sorted on the organiser; you only need a hoop or frame, small scissors and, once finished, a frame, which is not included. French knots form the flower centres and back stitch outlines the fence, so it suits stitchers with a little experience who want a good-sized picture for the wall.
