A richly shaded bouquet of garden flowers, signed in the bottom left corner, where the green of the vase sets off the purples, pinks and oranges of the petals. Alongside cross stitch the design uses half cross stitch, long stitch and french knots for the finer details, such as the thin stems and flower centres: a demanding piece, best suited to stitchers with some experience.
The evenweave fabric is normally worked over two threads, so it is worth setting it in a frame or hoop to keep an even tension. A frame is not included: given its size, the finished embroidery looks its best mounted behind a light mount board.
