Flower Fairy Silhouette 1

A fairy seen in profile, worked as a dark silhouette with wings full of curls and scrolls, holding a small flowering branch. The contrast between the figure and the rose background keeps the piece elegant even with a short colour list: it is worked in counted cross stitch, with some half cross stitch for the finer details.

The threads come ready sorted on the organiser, so there is no untangling before you start. You will also need a hoop or frame and a pair of small scissors, and the frame shown is not included: once finished, the picture can be framed or mounted on a padded panel to hang.
