Description

A winter design by Marjolein Bastin, with creamy hellebores and a bright red amaryllis that steps outside the frame of the picture. The stitching is counted on Aida following the large-square chart, with back stitch for the outlines and long stitches for finer details such as the stems.

It is a generously sized piece with a wide palette, and the loaded organiser keeps the many shades in order while you work. Alongside the kit it helps to have a hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors. A picture frame is not included: once washed and pressed on the wrong side, the finished work makes a handsome Christmas picture.
